So much great sport going on at the moment, seriously we are loving it! Lets start locally shall we.
In the AFL, there might be a few bye’s on at the moment but there are still some interesting games, Hawks vs the Blues should be a rippa and the one that interests us, is the Tigers vs the Crows. The tigers have a great chance to sneak into the 8. It would be great to see the Tigers in the 8.
State of Origin in the NRL last week was awesome. The footy was great, there was some great BIFF and NSW won! Let’s hope the Roaches can finally win the series and smash those dirty Queenslanders in game 2.
The Lions tour is rolling around the country and they are really demolishing their opponents! Sure they haven’t been playing the best sides in the country yet, but they are in some serious deadly form. Lets hope Robbie Deans has the Wallabies fired up and ready to play some great Rugby!
The Socceroos had a bloody great win against Jordan, which puts them one step closer to the World Cup in Brazil. Lets hope they smash Iraq next Tuesday!
Finally, the NBA Finals are in full swing at the moment and game 4 is happening as we speak. The Spurs are leading the series 2 games to 1, but you can never count out the defending champs, the Miami Heat. We’re hoping the Spurs win, because of that Australian connection, with Aussie Boomers coach Brett Brown and point guard Patty Mills.
